A friend and I must have tried for twenty minutes to catch this lizard. It really played some games with us, going into and out of crevices. It had an uncanny ability to stay just out of fingertip reach. As soon as we would give up, it would pop out of the rocks and just look at us; cocking its smart-aleck little head. Of course, this was dare enough for us to give chase again, until we finally decided that it was just flat out too smart for us. |
